Empathetic Objects 2019-2021

This body of work consists of experiential metaphors based on personal perspective. Processes and materials range from ceramic, fiber, metal, wood, and CAD (computer-aided design) and reflect understandings of spatial, social, and temporal relationships through material and process. The objective of this collection is to describe the personal in relation to the universal in order to connect individual stories within a larger narrative. By constructing physical objects that interpret individual intangible experiences, I explore what it means to be human.
